Join us at the 11th Iranian Film Festival Australia, a cinematic journey from Nov 16 to Dec 13, 2023, across six Australian cities

You’re in for a treat with eleven exceptional feature films, two documentaries and six short films.
In a touching tribute, we’ll honor Dariush Mehrjui with screenings a Restored copy of his 1971 masterpiece, “the Cow” plus behind the scenes of the film.
Program includes:

– “Dark Matter” by Karim Lakzadeh
– “Maman” by Arash Aneessee

– “Silent Glory” by Nahid Hassanzadeh
– “The Night Guardian” by Reza Mirkarimi
– “The Wastetown” by Ahmad Bahrami
– “Winners” by Hassan Nazer
– “Kiarostami at Work” by Seifollah Samadian
– “See You Friday, Robinson” by Mitra Farahani.

As the festival draws near, the excitement is building for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Iranian cinema, honoring the past while embracing the future
يازدهمين دوره جشنواره فیلمهای ایرانیِ استرالیا، از ١٦ نوامبر تا ١٣ دسامبر ٢٠٢٣ در شش شهر بزرگ استرالیا برگزار می‌شود-
شهرهای سيدنى، ملبورن، بريزبن، كانبرا، آدلايد و پرت در این تاریخ میزبان یازدهمین دوره جشنواره در استرالیا خواهند بود-
این دوره جشنواره شامل مجموعه ای از یازده فیلم بلند، دو فیلم مستند و شش فیلم کوتاه ایرانی است. همچنین جشنواره با نمایش نسخه بازسازی شده فیلم “گاو” شاهکار سال ١٩٧١ داریوش مهرجویی فقید، از وی تجلیل خواهد کرد.
مجموعه ویژه با یازده فیلم شگفت‌انگیز که شامل:
– “ملخ” به کارگردانی فائزه عزیزخانی
– “شب،داخلى، دیوار” به کارگردانی وحید جلیلوند
– “زاپاتا” به کارگردانی دانش اقباشوی
– “ماده تاریک” به کارگردانی کریم لکزاده
– “مامان” به کارگردانی آرش انيسی
– “روشن” به کارگردانی روح‌الله حجازی
– “شكوه خاموش” به کارگردانی ناهيد حسن‌زاده
– “نگهبان شب” به کارگردانی رضا میرکریمی
– “شهر خاموش” به کارگردانی احمد بهرامی
– “برنده ها” به کارگردانی حسن ناظر
– “گاو” به کارگردانی داريوش مهرجويى
برنامه ما همچنین شامل دو مستند جذاب است: «کیارستمی در محل کار» سیف الله صمدیان و «جمعه می بینمت، رابینسون» ساخته میترا فراهانی.

با ما همراه باشید تا از روحیه استقامت و خلاقیت در سینمای ایران لذت ببریم كه با وجود سختى هاى فراوان با روحیه بی‌همتای داستان سرایی هم چنان درخشان است. مجموعه اى از فيلم هاى الهام بخش و درخشان كه با دقت فراوان انتخاب شده اند و بيانگر زیبایی‌های فرهنگ غنى ايران هستند در این جشنواره به نمایش در خواهند آمد.
